The Chez's Programs and Services
The Chez programs and services for children and youths offers a blend of multitude of unique approaches to assist in supporting and creating
change for children, youth and young adults in their development of skills and to achieve success in the future
At the Chez, we provide specialized supports for people with concurrent disorders, using a harm reduction approach. We strongly believe that harm reduction is about meeting individuals where they are in their journey with the aim to reduce negative outcomes of using psychoactive substances. Individuals do not have to be sober to be accepted into our program. However, we ask that our clients not use on our property. Our staff are well trained in identifying an overdose and administering naloxone if required.
We provide residential community services that are intentional and provide consistent care for individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health and addictions diagnosis. We create individualized plans that will meet their goals in the community and achieve their full potential.
Group Home Program
The Group Home Program is designed to house 6 female and/or male children and/or youth between the
ages of between the ages of 6 to 18
Parenting Programs
Our Parenting program is designed to offer support and guidance to parents who are facing challenges in raising their children.
SIL Program
This program provides Supported Independent Living assistance to adolescents ages 15 to 21 as they embark on their journey to independent living
Newcomer Program
This program provides settlement services and helps to connect newcomers to a world of possibilities and a better life in Alberta

Life Enrichment
Our Wellness & Life Enrichment Program is a collaboration with our clients and staff to build an active and energetic community that meets the emotional, environmental, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual needs of every individual who chooses to make Chez living their home.
Fitness Group
At the Chez, we believe keeping the body fit and active at every age is a proven way to keep the mind and the spirit in great shape. Our Health & Fitness program work close with city recreation centres offering programs with calendar of classes for strength, flexibility, engagement, and balance, and opportunities to train with a certified fitness professional.
Life skills group
This group is designed to allow patients to hone skills that can be used in everyday life. These capabilities will enable them to become more in control over things that might trigger old behaviors by improving coping skills and knowing how to enhance relationships. They will learn things like budgeting, communication, coping skills and how to perform activities of daily living as well as self care.
