Family and Child Intervention Programs

The Chez Family and Child Intervention Program

The Family and Child Intervention Program at The Chez is a vital resource designed to offer support to families and children facing challenges that impact their safety, development, and overall well-being. Through early intervention, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive services, we provide holistic, family-centered solutions that aim to address immediate crises while promoting long-term stability and resilience. Our program is committed to creating safe environments where families can thrive, focusing on the prevention of family breakdown and child apprehension.

Our dedicated team works closely with families to empower them, ensuring they have the tools and support to navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and build a brighter future for their children. We collaborate with community partners and agencies to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to family support.

Our Family and Child Intervention Program

Long-Term Family Support Plans – Our Long-Term Family Support Plans provide continued assistance to families after the initial intervention. These plans are designed to help families build lasting stability by setting achievable goals, identifying key resources, and tracking progress over time. This ongoing support ensures families are empowered to maintain their progress and sustain positive changes.

Family Resilience and Coping Skills Workshops – Our Family Resilience Workshops focus on strengthening families’ coping skills to deal with adversity and challenges. These workshops equip parents and children with tools to navigate stress, build emotional resilience, and create stronger family bonds, even during tough times.

Support for Children with Special Needs – We provide Specialized Support Services for children with disabilities or special needs. These services are tailored to address individual challenges, ensuring that children receive the support they need to thrive in their environment. We also offer parent guidance on advocating for special education services and accommodations.

Early Childhood Development Support – We provide Early Childhood Development Support for children showing signs of developmental delays or needing additional support in areas like speech, motor skills, or socialization. Through developmental screenings and customized interventions, we ensure children receive the necessary care to thrive at home, school, and in their communities.

Housing & Financial Assistance Referrals – Our Housing and Financial Assistance service connects families to resources that can help them secure stable housing, access financial aid, and manage budgeting challenges. We guide families in accessing government and community programs to alleviate financial stress and improve their living conditions.

Support for Families in Transition – For families going through significant life transitions, such as relocation, divorce, or the loss of a caregiver, we offer Transition Support Services. These services include emotional and practical support to help families adapt to their new circumstances while minimizing disruptions to children’s lives and development.

Family-Centered Case Management – Family-Centered Case Management is at the heart of our intervention strategy. We work with families to assess their unique needs and create personalized action plans that provide consistent, ongoing support. Case managers connect families to relevant community services, ensuring they receive the resources necessary for long-term success.
