As conversations around mental health gain momentum, it’s critical to recognize the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities. This session explores how sport, recreation, and mindful movement can be powerful tools for healing, connection, and emotional well-being.
Objective
Participants will explore the intersection of mental health, physical activity, and community care. The session aims to promote sports and recreation as accessible avenues for stress relief, healing, and resilience, while addressing the stigma surrounding mental health in underserved populations.
